Lucy is an experienced website designer and social media professional who runs her business Lucy Calnan Design.

She has designed and developed websites for businesses in Architecture, Art, Beauty, Consultancy and Networking, Education, a gym, Health Literacy, Health and Safety, Holiday Cottages, Private Investigation Services, Sports coaching, and a Theatre Company.

For some of these clients, she has gone on to manage their websites on an ongoing basis, with bespoke packages to fit their requirements.

Lucy has also taken on the day-to-day management of clients’ existing websites, which has involved tasks including software updates to adding content, new pages, new features, and functionality.

She has managed the social media accounts for several businesses which involved designing and posting content as well as replying to comments and messages. She has also created some personalised Canva Instagram templates for a business who was looking to grow their Instagram profile.

Lucy is passionate about supporting businesses with their websites and social media. She provides bespoke packages to suit individual clients’ requirements and takes the time to explain things to her clients without using tech jargon.

Lucy is delighted to be a resident at the This Girl HQ and has been an active member of the This Girl Community since August 2021. During this time, she has supported several members with their websites and is also the website designer and manager for the This Girl website.

Lucy runs workshops and drop-in support sessions from the This Girl HQ and uses the collaborative workspace to meet her clients.
