I started out as a fitness and fat loss instructor in 1991 as a way to justify and hide my bulimia, food, alcohol and exercise obsession. On the outside I aimed to inspire, be a role model of fitness, strength and control, yet on the inside I was a full of guilt and shame and exhausted from hiding my real behaviour around food and alcohol. An event in 2005 lead to me turning my health and whole life around without years in therapy or relying on will power and I knew I had to help as many people as possible learn how simple it can be for them to do it too.
You probably know, having read all the self-help books, tried every diet and therapy going that perfectionists, high achieves, highly sensitive people and people pleasers, are more likely to turn to sabotaging behaviours to 'manage life'.
But knowledge doesn’t make any difference when you are reaching for the 2nd bottle of wine or stuffing your face with cake and ice-cream then throwing up or exercising like a lunatic through fear of putting on weight and being fat!
Being intelligent and smart doesn’t help the guilt, shame and exhaustion you feel the next day when the familiar hangover and brain fog kick in and you have to put your ‘game face’ on to face the day.
From conventional tools like NLP (neuro linguistic programming) and CBT (Cognitive Behavioural Therapy) as well as Reiki, EFT (Emotional Freedom Technique, Essential oils and Breath work, Vagal tone and Nutritional therapy. I have the tools and understanding to help you create the life you imagine and get a renewed sense of confidence, self-worth, excitement, energy and joy.
